Welcome to Walk in Creativity

Organizer and Operator, Catherine Rose has always had a love for making and designing pretty things. Her motto has always been its not where you live or how much you posses, you can turn a little into a lot right where you are. We don’t always get to choose where we want to live but we can turn the place we do live in into a thing of grandeur.

She is a woman of many God given talents. Lets go back 19 years when it all began. In her early thirties she felt her life shifting. She was going through a storm and felt things were happening around her that were beyond her control so she started writing about love as a distraction. It actually started with a dare from a friend to write a love poem. She spent some mornings talking to God in her quiet time, one of those mornings God spoke to her heart and changed her direction of writing to speak to others about his love instead of human love. In 2006 she self published and released her first book entitled “All for Jesus”, a collection of Poetry she had been writing through the years. After the first publication she continued writing and wrote two more books, “I Owe him my Everything” and “Garden of my Thoughts” , neither of which where ever released in book form and distributed. She only shared copies of them with close friends and her Pastor at her home church that she attended. “All for Jesus” was the only book she had a public book signing for at The Center for the Way, the Truth and the Life a.k.a. Church and Community Christian Book Store in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  Today, over nineteen years since she first put pen to paper and began writing about the love of God she continues still to share his love with others. This was her first mission, God gets the credit for the vision and plan because it was his and she humbly complied.

In 2007 she formed Hands of Worship Gifts. She loves doing things with her heart and hands. She made gift baskets, bookmarks with her poetry on them and sold some of the poems she wrote in frames. She did this for a few years but then stopped and started writing full articles about his love that she shared via the internet. God was giving her so much more to write beyond the few lines in her poetry. She began sharing them in Facebook groups, blogs and websites that she herself organized and operated. She also shared her writings via Ezine articles.

Her  love for decorating and making things goes back to when she was in her late teens and early twenties. Her mom taught  her how to crochet and attempted to teach her how to sew for her mother’s profession was that of a seamstress. She made clothes that were distributed to clothing stores such as Strawbridge and Clothier and John Wanamaker. Catherine never held an interest in wanting to sew. Her love was crocheting. She made hats, scarfs, baby blankets and booties for family and friends from the kindness of her heart but never made a business out of it. They were love gifts. When your young and jobless gift giving is limited but yarn not being too expensive gave her a way to give gifts that she could hand make herself.

There is nothing like a handmade gift. You put your time and energy into as well as your love. Love is what motivates you to do nice things for others.

What was her vision in 2018? She wanted to make a second attempt in turning what she has always loved doing for over three decades into a business and market her creations. Over the years she reached a lot of people through her writings and she desires to accomplish the same results with her designing and creating abilities. One creation at a time will she continue to show the world what talents given by God that she posses and spread the love of God along the way. “You never know where the Grace of God will take you if you don’t try and see where it all  leads you”, she quotes.
She is busy at work daily making new things for you to personally enjoy in your home or at your Event. So continue to check back and see what is available.
