BEDROOM MAKEOVER PT 2

 I have not quite made it to my golden years but I feel I am living my life like its golden. Just a plan woman, loving mother and grandmother enjoying each day that God grants me to continue to exsist. I am grateful for His many blessings and continued keeping. In my last blog post I shared with you the making over of my bedroom. I was not completely finished and some extra tweeking has been done since my last entry.

 

I have never been so pleased with the way my room has turned out. I found the perfect peace of art for above my bed, I added a storage bech that I keep my bed pillows in during the day and my decorative bed pillows at night. The last thing that will be added is a leather recliner, the cloth one will go in storage.

I actually enjoying retiring in the evening which I have nicknamed Catherine's boudoir. I get to relax and watch my favorite movies and shows til  I can no longer keep my eyes open. I thank God for watching over me each night as I slumber and keeping my home safe and sound. It didnt take long to acquire the full makeover because the majority of the things in hear I already had. It was just a matter of a new comforter set, decorative pillows, artwork, coffee table, storage bench, curtains and a few acessories. The longest wait was for my headboard that took twenty days to arrive but it was well worth the wait. I have not had a headboard on my bed in over three decades. It gave my bed a more finished look.

I am so glad I made the decision to make an investment in my bedroom it was worth the time and effort. I ended up with a super relaxing space to retire and have peaceful sleep and I did it on a budget. Thank you God.
