Visual Charm
I feel like my middle name should be create but I would not change what it is now because I am named after my grandmother. In 1990 I would say was the beginning of me visualizing in the future what I hoped to create in the home that I had just purchased. For a quarter of a century I gave the home I raised my children in a lot of visual charm. I am grateful for the time the Lord gave me in that home and it pained me when I had to sell it and relocate. Life is give and take and full of twists and turns. The blessing is I was given another place from the Lord to relocate and for almost a decade I have given my living space a lot of visual charm through the years. I have continued my life and have made new memories with my family here. I obtained the name maximalist from my previous home and the title remains.
I downsized a little bit coming into this place but have made it work just the same. I am truly grateful for a roof over my head, walls and a door to lock at night. My little oasis closed off from the outside world. Speaking of outside I think I am going to get my grandson to help my clean off my porch. I just might decorate it for the summer season. I am done with the inside so why not do something to my front. We don't spend much time out there at all besides coming and going so I have literally done nothing to it for the past five years. I am going to put some Americana decor on my porch and in my kitchen for the summer season straight through to Labor day. I will not be putting any in my living or dining rooms.
Big or small having a place to reside is a blessings. Whether its accessorized or not the way you would like its a blessing. It is your shelter from the outside world. Decorations can come over time as finances allow. It took me a while to get to a place were I could give this home the visual charm I desired. I remember for a full year just coming down my stairs and thanking God for a home to be in and as the days, weeks, months and years went by I have been have been blessed to be able to give my home the visual charm that warms my heart and spirit to gaze upon. Take a look around you, no matter how your home is visually displayed you cant tell me you wont gaze upon something that you are thankful for. Whether its a vase of flowers on a table or just the fridge in your kitchen that has food in it only by the Grace of God. We are now in the month of May, the 5th day and I wish for you a lovely Tuesday evening and the rest of your week to come. Thanks for stopping by and reading my blog. I hope you will visit again and also check out my YouTube channel with the same name of my blog. There is a lot of decorating inspiration to be found there.
