Welcome to Walk in Creativity,

My name is Catherine and I started this blog to inspire others to not  be afraid to step out on Faith and do what you love. My forte is creating, designing and decorating. We all are equipped with different talents and ideas. Some of us may have ideas on how we want to start our own business and impact or make our mark in the world. Some have the gift of creativity, some have the gift of writing and/or singing, others encourage and inspire. Whatever we do we do it with our own creativity and style.

 The world is filled with others with similar gifts but in some way each are different from the other whether its style, approach or delivery. Don’t worry about looking or being someone else just be yourself as you pursue accomplishing whatever it is that you are trying to do and be the best you can at it.

Expect a few highs and lows and dry and lucrative times. As you take your journey to get where you want to be, remain humble, grateful and motivated. Never be afraid to walk in your own creative Style even if you stand alone. For the most part you want to stand out because that is what makes you unique. Have faith in the knowledge and abilities that God equips you with and take it one step at a time, one day at a time.

Here I will provide tips on designing your home in a way that is delightful to you. You want your home to be your comfort zone. Its your private space and you should design it the way it makes you happy.

I’m a wife but also a empty nester who spends her pastime creating, crafting and transforming my new home season by season to provide a warm oasis for not only myself but for my family when they come to visit or for events and gatherings. I also want my home to inspire other women when they attend my Open House events to put their creative caps on and envision how they too can make their dwelling place one of serenity and delightful to the eyes.

I love creating spaces of comfort in my home and it brings me peace to do so, not to mention the relaxing state of mind it puts me in daily.  The pièce de résistance about doing it yourself is the feeling you have in the end knowing that you achieved what you started all because you believed in yourself and the creativity you posses.  Your home is your investment, it is what you make it so why not make it comfortable and inviting, people may never want to leave, lol.
