The Wait is Over!!!!!!!!

And so it begins!

I am over the moon happy to kick off decorating my home for the 2024 holiday season. The beginning of it all was receiving my first King of Christmas tree. I am not dissapointed whatsoever. It is a beautiful, full, perfectly flocked Christmas tree. I could not wait to decorate it. Fall usually leaves my home by mid September. I start decorating for Christmas the last week in September. I begin with my Jesus tree and just continue to add things to the rest of my home in the weeks that follow.

I get my decorations out and up early so that I can enjoy it for longer than 30 days. My tree was so easy to put together. It came well packed and it only has three sections to connect and it stands 7 1/2 feet tall. I think its around 1200 tips on this tree give or take a few. I chose an unlit tree so I could control how many and which position to put my lights on the tree. I like that they give you gloves and a tree bag to store it in when the holiday is over. All those years I never covered my hands and came away with many scratches on arms and hands. Hey, I ask myself what took me so long to put on a pair of gloves. I guess I would just be so engrossed in the excitement of the holiday and decorating that I just didnt care to a degree, silly me, I will going forward always put on some gloves and save my hands and arms from scratches, Lol.

I had to move things out my living room to get the tree to fit in the corner. I will be postingblog entries in the coming weeks so stay tuned. Have a wonderful week.
